‘The true beauty of music is that it connects people’

It was a beautiful sunny day on the 338 terrace, Greenwich London in June 2012, i had attended the party with a boy i was seeing and some friends. He didn’t get the music at all and i wasn’t vibing with him so after awhile I asked him to leave (clearly only room for one if us on the dancefloor!), and walked him out to get a taxi.

On my way back into the venue i noticed my group chatting with a very tall (6'7! ) handsome stranger, and as i walked up everyone jokingly said oh Jenny you and Mitch would make a great couple! (I am also very tall) As a joke we linked arms and walked off onto the dancefloor where we realised pretty quickly they were right. 8 years later we still haven’t stopped dancing together and are planning our wedding for 2023.
