Every Low Life, Dennis Parker's 'Like An Eagle' would come on and my friends and I, like a secret code or ritual, would rush to the dance floor, find each other and dance our ass off.

Low Life was a shared communal experience amongst friends and partner, where a few times a year we were able to let off some steam, let go and lose ourselves. This small, overcrowded and magical place is where I have formed important and lifelong friendships (I'm a godfather to friends I've met here).

We missed dancing to some great tunes, being close to people that they are practically sweating all over you, hugging strangers who you are convinced are going to be your new best friend and can't remember their names the following day.
